Head Hunter Resourcing are proud to be working with The True Butterflies Foundation and their support for children Little Wings.

The True Butterflies Foundation are a  Cornish based charity who's aim is to Support, Rebuild, and Empower victims of domestic abuse and their families. 

In February 2018 The True Butterflies Foundation was granted formal charity status by the UK Charity Commission and has been going from strength to strength. Their aim is to Support, Rebuild and Empower not just the victims of domestic abuse but the whole family. Having a strong support network around you dramatically reduces the chance of the victim returning to the perpetrator and helps to break the cycle of abuse

Through mentoring, online support, counselling, workshops, court support, and more. The True Butterflies Foundation have helped families move forward from their trauma and empowered them to be themselves again.

We are currently running cosplay and martial arts workshops for the children affected with trained counsellors present to work with the children. As a child affected by abuse it is hard to trust any adult again, let alone go into a room with a stranger and talk about what has happened to you. The workshops are brilliant at bridging that divide, letting the child speak to the counsellors on their terms and slowly build up the trust to talk. These workshops are also helping the children to realise they can be anything they want to be in life.
